brothers…

these little boys were wonderful…sometimes it can be hard to photograph little boys…especially when they are unable to follow directions really well and you get a lot of shots of the backs of their heads…or of them out of focus b/c they are running away to look at rocks…or water….or dogs…or helicopters….

but sometimes, you get little boys like J* and J* and it makes your job easy.

and this image just makes me melt…the drool…sometimes images are so retouched they remove things like that, but i couldn’t bear to do that with this one…it is what makes him a little boy…a baby…someday, when he is grown up, his mommy will love that picture with the baby drool…and rosy red cheeks…and baby fine hair…yum

the oldest brother was a bit more interested in traffic and what was going on around him, but any time i was lucky enough to catch him slow down enough to get his baby blues in focus…it was dead on.

and his little brother was no different….these two are going to break some hearts someday with those eyes….

and again, great images, but saving my favorites for mom and dad to see first…however, i do love this one…

sometimes when i photograph a little boy it makes me think of my nephew and how is *all boy* as we say…this image is just that….*all boy*….he is exploring, and independent, and just plain cute.

 a special thanks to their dad Justin who, without, i surely would have lost my keys and lens cap….it was nice to have a dad come along for a shoot….i was able to catch some great family shots and to really see how much this family loves each other…i was really grateful for these two little ones…they aren’t my nephew, but sometimes hugging someone else’s baby almost makes the way i miss MY Jackson bearable.
